How to buy petroleum products through GPA

Find supply, explain what you need and compare offers with clear specifications. Start with a live product listing or post a buyer request for your requirements.

From requirement to purchase

01 · Define your requirement

Be specific about the product

Prepare the product name and specification, quantity and unit, delivery location, preferred delivery terms and required timing. For repeat purchases, include the supply frequency.

02 · Find matching supply

Browse products or post a request

Use Find Supply to narrow down available listings. Open product details and save relevant products to revisit in your dashboard. If you need suppliers to respond to a defined requirement, use the buyer request form.

03 · Review the offer

Compare the complete terms

Confirm the seller’s company details, product specification, quantity, loading or delivery location and availability. Ask for clarification where information is missing before proceeding.

04 · Agree the transaction

Confirm terms before committing

Agree the price basis, payment terms, inspection arrangements, documents, delivery schedule and responsibilities with the seller. Record the agreed terms in the transaction documents and follow the agreed delivery process.

What to include in your buyer request

A clear requirement helps suppliers assess whether they can supply
DetailWhat to provide

Compare offers on the same basis

A lower headline price may cover different delivery responsibilities, specifications or quantities. Compare matching units, product quality, locations and delivery terms, and confirm which costs are included.

A verification badge is one part of your review. Confirm the counterparty, supporting documents and transaction terms for your own purchase.
